If your internal Xbox 360 drive has stopped working, this replacement drive is an ideal replacement. You should note that you cannot simply replace a drive. Without reading out the drive key and and then flashing the new drive, the replaced drive will not function as intended. You can also simply exchange the drive boards of the new drive and your old drive, exchange them with each other. Your drive is married to the main mainboard with a code, therefore you cannot simply swap the drive.
